Meeting delegates are visitors you know are coming. And it is reasonable to assume that today's leisure visitor works somewhere, belongs to something, plans something, or knows someone who does.

That crossover creates an interesting opportunity for destination and visitor experience teams. A person may arrive for a conference, a family weekend, a tournament, a wedding, an expo, or a festival, but once they are in the destination they are still one whole person deciding what to eat, where to go, what feels memorable, and whether they would come back.
